Shivraj More
About

From the soil of Latur to the leadership of Maharashtra—built without any inheritance.

Shri Shivraj Bapusaheb More began his journey as a district-level worker in Latur in 2014, carrying nothing but conviction and the discipline of the Indian National Congress. Coming from a non-political background, he had no political legacy, no shortcuts, and no patronage—only twelve years of dedicated cadre work, padyatras, and an unwavering presence wherever the party needed him most.

In 2026, he was appointed President of the Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress, a recognition earned through merit, loyalty, and the trust of workers across all 36 districts. His mandate is simple: to build a Maharashtra where a young person’s future is determined by talent, not by surname.

No dynastic politics
Cadre-built leadership
Constitution-first politics
Vision for Maharashtra

A Maharashtra that works for its youth.

Jobs

Creating local employment opportunities to prevent youth migration.

Justice

Ensuring fair representation, equal rights, and accountability.

Constitution

Safeguarding democratic values and the rights of every citizen.

Education that opens doors. Employment that ends migration. Governance that answers to the people. A politics that is for the next generation, not against it.

  • Education that guarantees real-world skills, not just degrees.
  • Decentralised industries ensuring youth find jobs in their own districts.
  • Transparent recruitment systems with zero tolerance for exam paper leaks.
  • Dedicated support systems for rural entrepreneurship and self-employment.
Constitutional Tenure

Two decades.
One conviction.

From NSUI college units to the Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress Presidency — a documented record of elected leadership and organisational responsibility.

Vote Chor Gaddi Chhod Campaign

Vote Chor Gaddi Chhod

The Congress party have raised several specific concerns regarding the integrity of the voting process in the state : - Voter List "Infiltration": He alleged that Maharashtra's electoral rolls grew by roughly 71 lakh voters in just five months (a 13% increase), which he described as mathematically improbable and suspicious. - The "65 Lakh" Spike: During a speech, Gandhi claimed that 65 lakh votes were added to the tally in just two hours (between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM on polling day), calling the surge "physically impossible." - Data Manipulation: Allegations were made that thousands of voters were deleted from lists in specific constituencies (approximately 10,000 per seat) while "bogus" entries with fake addresses or duplicate photos were added.
